Modern Slavery Statement
Jewel Home Support has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and is committed to ethical, lawful practice across our organisation and supply chains.
Our Commitment
Jewel Home Support is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking, and we are committed to preventing it in our own operations and our supply chains, in line with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Our People
We carry out robust recruitment checks for every member of staff, including verifying the right to work in the UK, confirming identity, and completing enhanced DBS checks. We ensure all employees are paid fairly and lawfully, and that no one is subjected to forced, bonded or compulsory labour.
International Recruitment
Where we recruit internationally under a sponsor licence, we comply fully with Home Office sponsorship requirements and ethical recruitment standards. We never charge workers recruitment fees and we ensure sponsored staff understand their rights and are supported throughout their employment.
Supply Chains
We expect the same high standards from our suppliers and partners. We assess the risk of modern slavery within our supply chains and will not knowingly work with any organisation that does not share our commitment to ethical and lawful practice.
Reporting Concerns
All staff are encouraged to report any concerns relating to modern slavery, and we have safeguarding and whistleblowing procedures in place to support them. Any reports are taken seriously, investigated promptly, and escalated to the relevant authorities where necessary.
